Peekaboo Sun è un'app per calcolare orari e direzione di alba e tramonto, tenendo conto dell'orizzonte reale intorno a te. Questa pagina spiega, in modo diretto, quali dati usa l'app e cosa non fa mai.
In breve: non esiste un server di Peekaboo Sun. Non c'è account, non c'è pubblicità, non c'è tracciamento. La tua posizione resta sul tuo dispositivo. Le uniche richieste di rete servono a far funzionare le singole funzioni dell'app, verso servizi terzi che ricevono solo il minimo indispensabile.
Peekaboo Sun usa la posizione del dispositivo esclusivamente sul dispositivo stesso, per calcolare in locale gli orari e gli azimut di alba e tramonto e il profilo dell'orizzonte. La tua posizione non viene mai inviata a un server di Peekaboo Sun, per il semplice motivo che questo server non esiste. Quando è necessario, alcune coordinate vengono inviate ai servizi terzi elencati sotto, sempre e solo per fornire la funzione richiesta (es. scaricare le previsioni meteo per la tua zona).
Per funzionare, alcune schermate dell'app fanno richieste anonime — senza account, login o identificativo personale associato — ai seguenti servizi esterni, inviando solo i dati minimi necessari (tipicamente coordinate geografiche arrotondate o un'area di ricerca):

Peekaboo Sun non ha controllo su dati tecnici che questi servizi possono ricevere autonomamente lato loro (es. indirizzo IP della richiesta): per approfondire, puoi consultare le rispettive informative di Open-Meteo, Komoot e OpenStreetMap Foundation.
Se valuti quanto ti è piaciuta un'alba o un tramonto (con voto e nota facoltativa), questi dati restano salvati solo sul tuo dispositivo. Non vengono mai inviati automaticamente da nessuna parte. Puoi condividerli — ad esempio per aiutarci a migliorare i calcoli durante la beta — solo con un'azione esplicita tua (il pulsante "Condividi dati per il feedback"), che apre la normale funzione di condivisione del sistema operativo: decidi tu, di volta in volta, se e con chi condividerli.
Peekaboo Sun non è rivolta specificamente a minori di 13 anni e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati che li riguardino — del resto, come spiegato sopra, non raccogliamo dati personali di nessun utente su un server nostro.

Peekaboo Sun is an app that calculates sunrise and sunset times and direction, accounting for the real horizon around you. This page explains plainly what data the app uses, and what it never does.
In short: there is no Peekaboo Sun server. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your location stays on your device. The only network requests exist to make individual features work, and go to third-party services that receive only the minimum needed.
Peekaboo Sun uses your device's location only on the device itself, to calculate sunrise/sunset times, azimuths, and the horizon profile locally. Your location is never sent to a Peekaboo Sun server, for the simple reason that no such server exists. When needed, some coordinates are sent to the third-party services listed below, solely to provide the requested feature (e.g. fetching the weather forecast for your area).
To work, some screens make anonymous requests — no account, login, or personal identifier attached — to the following external services, sending only the minimum data needed (typically rounded coordinates or a search area):

Peekaboo Sun has no control over technical data these services may independently receive on their end (e.g. the request's IP address): see Open-Meteo's, Komoot's, and the OpenStreetMap Foundation's own privacy policies for details.
If you rate how a sunrise or sunset actually looked (with an optional note), that data stays saved only on your device. It's never sent anywhere automatically. You can share it — for instance to help us improve the app's predictions during the beta — only through your own explicit action (the "Share feedback data" button), which opens your operating system's normal share sheet: you decide, each time, whether and with whom to share it.
Peekaboo Sun isn't specifically directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect data about them — as explained above, we don't collect any user's personal data on a server of ours in the first place.
